Who we are
Our website address is: https://acmlogistics.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
At this time we do not accept comments on blog posts. In the future we will enable this feature. At that time, when visitors leave comments on the site we will collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
At this time we do not permit the uploading of images to our site. In the future we may enable this feature for limited purposes. At that time, if you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms and email newsletter subscribers
At this time we do not have contact forms enabled on our website. In the future we will enable this feature. The purpose of a contact form is to provide a way for you to communicate to us. We will use the information submitted in the form to communicate to you in response. Some of our responses may be automated through a third-party secure transactional email service. We will retain the information provided in the contact form until it is no longer needed for our mutual business purpose. If you should opt in to our email newsletter we will add your email to the subscriber list. Email list subscribers receive periodic emails with promotional content as well as industry news. Suscribers may unsubscribe at any time, following the links provided in the email newsletter.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
We have enabled Google Analytics on this website. This means that data points about your visit to this site will be aggregated to help us understand the website traffic for the site as a whole as well as for individual pages. We do this so that we can continue to improve this website.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with anyone except with your express permission.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Additional information
How we protect your data
We follow best practices to secure all our digital assets including data about you that is gathered through this website.
What data breach procedures we have in place
Should a data breach occur, we will collaborate with our hosting provider, GoDaddy to secure this site and update all passwords. We will inform our email newsletter subscribers and our customers of details of what occurred and what business risk or harm, if any, may have resulted from the data breach. Because we do not store any credit card, banking, or financial data about our site visitors we believe that our visitors will experience limited impact even if a data breach were to succeed.
What third parties we receive data from
We receive data from business partners and customers from across the globe, usually by email or phone, but also at times through social media pages and specialized online resources. We do not purchase third party lists. We limit our email marketing to individuals who have opted in to subscribe to our newsletter.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
At this time our online contact forms are not active. When we activate them in the future, we will use automated responses to acknowledge submitted forms and requests for price quotes.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
We are committed to follow all regulatory disclosure requirements that may apply to our business.
